The Friendly Ranger Brewing Company was borne out of a Southeast London home. An area rife with craft beer breweries, we wanted to create a brand that celebrated the founder's birthplace of Ireland whilst also being heavily inspired by the Thin Lizzy song: The Friendly Ranger at Clontarf Castle.

CORE PACKAGING
Being such a small start up, the branding options needed to be sustainable and relatively inexpensive. A faded hand-painting of Clontarf Castle can be printed on pre-cut sticky-back labels via a home printer and act as the base. Additionally, a stamp was created with a gap to allow for hand-written names / alcohol content. The same stamp could then be utilised for business cards or to brand extra collateral, like takeaway bags.

BRANDED ELEMENTS
Found old postcards of Clontarf Castle provide the base for tasting notes, whilst beer mats allow for an easy and relevant receipt / invoicing system. In time, wax seals and transparent stickers with a simplified version of the logo could be produced for added branding across limited edition brews, events or for gifting.
