Bobcat were new to the licensing space. Although they had a robust brand strategy, it was our role to translate that into a consumer goods offering. A brand rooted in truly American values, they were looking to extend their awareness globally through licensing.

With the view to also extend the brand reach to a more global audience, we created a series of outreach documents. The largest body of work being their Brand Book. Modular by nature, the Brand Book served as an introduction to the brand, and also encapsulated creative explorations into the varying categories they could play in. We also looked at competitors within each space as a comparitive measure for specific products and pricing.
Furthermore, this 100+ paged document included a section that acts as a Style Guide specifically for the licensing programme. With rules, do’s and don’ts, guiding principals, mockups – from art direction to retail – this guide could be rolled out to licensing partners and operators.
