PACKAGING
The bottle illustration encapsulates the provenance and heritage of the Greek Mastiha. Done by renowned artist Zoe Keller, she has managed to infuse Axia’s ethos into every stroke of her design. The twisted limbs of the mastic tree, the native wildlife of Chios, the hands of the women that harvest the mastic crystals, and the indomitable heart of Chios — all intertwined to narrate the story of an unyielding, spirited heritage.

We created an emblem for the stopper: an artful interlacing of copper and silver that forms the letter ‘A’, entwined within the Chios snake, a nod to the rich tapestry of Greek history.

We worked on collating a series of varying Brand Books, Guidelines, Sales, and Education documents that support the teams on-the-ground sell the brand to the trade. With a brand new  category, there is a level of education required to understand the unique proposition. This is something we aim to communicate through all creative touchpoints.

We are heavily involved in all spatial design across events and retail activations. Not only designing the space but also hands-on management of all elements of production across all marketing touchpoints. This includes but is not limited to liaising with suppliers, print artwork, outreach for collaborations, creation of social media assets.

In addition to creating the core assets across marketing collateral and digital channels, we look at how to manage the brand as it scales and enters new markets. We strategise with Sales and on-the-ground talent to ensure a sustainable and consistent tone of voice is maintained globally.

Competing against the alcohol industry’s biggest giants, we had to be creative, aspirational and ultimately create ancillary items that people would want to purchase. We worked with small suppliers ensuring to near-source in key locations to get the best price point and ensure a smaller carbon footprint.
